Biography:

Music has been with Felix from the start, starting with record shopping at the age of 8 with his mother and his first dj gig from his father at 15. Felix has been influenced by the love of music shared with him by his parents as well as extended family. But most of all he is driven by his own inner harmony, which has created a place for himself and his soulful sound in Hawaii and San Francisco's underground scene. DJ FLX now finds his home in Chicago where he shares his unique musical vibe across the Windy City and beyond by creating some of most rhythmic and most memorable sessions heard.

"I have come to believe that Music is the key to happiness. I believe in 'format presentation'; programming selections that fit the times, phrasing the music into a masterpiece, manipulating sound to create a feeling, matching beats to be recognized and understood."

DJ FLX is featured regularly at the 3 Degrees Ultra Lounge (Chicago) Wednesday night industry gathering. There he puts on a show for some of the most noted DJ talents in the world, not to mention the most trained ears in the business.

"The idea to play across the country was nothing compared to the honor of being invited to become part of the 3 Degrees House Family. This most influential environment reeks of talent and allows all the pieces to come together. Some call it house, we call it home."

Bringing his musical experience to the next level, DJ FLX is currently in the early stages of production work and his releases will be highly anticipated.
